Using DirectoryOpus a lot, I have often been annoyed that when I've just unarchived a file to ram: and turned to the workbench, the program icon hasn't popped up in the "ram disk" window yet. Iconappearer snoops around the system and tells workbench when to update it's windows, so that all changes can be seen. Very handy indeed.
