If you're using a security product that System Center does not recognize, you can turn off the alert by using these steps:



Click Start and then click Control Panel.


Double-click Security Center.


For anti-virus: In the Security Center, under Virus Protection, click Recommendations.

For Firewall: In the Security Center, under Firewall, click Recommendations.


For anti-virus: In the Recommendations dialog box, select the I have antivirus software that I'll monitor myself check box, and then click OK.

For Firewall: In the Recommendations dialog box, select the I have a firewall solution that I'll monitor myself check box, and then click OK.
