1. Click on the various Control Strip icons to reveal their functions.
2. Click on the AppleTalk icon to turn your local network connection on or off.
3. Click on the CD-ROM icon to choose CD options.
4. Click on the File Sharing icon to turn file sharing on or off.
5. Click on the Monitor Resolution icon to choose a greater or lesser screen resolution.
6. Click on the Monitor Color icon to choose to display more or fewer colors on your monitor.
7. Click on the Printer icon to choose a printer.
8. Click on the Remote Access icon to choose your Internet access.
9. Click on the sound icon to set the system sound volume.
10. Click on the microphone icon to choose the source for recording sound.
11. Click on the Web Sharing icon to open or close Web Sharing.
12. Click on the Sleep icon (on PowerBooks) to choose sleep settings. |
